Mason has been a
computer software company president, a corporate strategy consultant, a
sometimes semi-professional tournament backgammon player and a senior’s
tournament tennis participant. In his entrepreneurial business life he wrote two
books, hundreds of articles, and participated in many seminars as an expert on
electronic document and knowledge management strategies.
He
was briefly married in his youth and attributes his divorce to his basic
immaturity and lack of knowledge of the basics that now comprise the book,
“Love At Second Sight – Playing the Midlife Dating Game.”
He did, in subsequent years, establish some relatively long-term relationships with women, but none of them resulted in anything permanent. He also has a daughter and as a result of her marriage now qualifies as a grandfather, something that while enjoyable, definitely brings home the point of this discussion – none of us are getting younger and time is one of the new elements that must be factored into future relationships.
